The publication was produced on the occasion of the exhibition and film programme LOCATION: GEORGIA and simultaneously marked Irina Kurtishvili’s curatorial debut. Developed in collaboration with graphic designer Andrea Tinnes, the fold-out poster brings together 20 contributions dating from 1996 to 2006. It brings together texts and photographic works by German filmmakers, photographers, journalists, and film scholars, offering diverse perspectives on Georgia as a place of cinema, culture, and historical transformation.

Die Publikation erschien anlässlich der Ausstellung und Filmreihe LOCATION: GEORGIEN und markierte zugleich Irina Kurtishvilis Debüt als Kuratorin. Das gemeinsam mit der Grafikdesignerin Andrea Tinnes entwickelte Faltposter vereint 20 Beiträge aus den Jahren 1996 bis 2006. Es versammelt Texte sowie Fotografien deutscher Filmemacher, Fotokünstler, Journalisten und Filmwissenschaftler, die sich aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven mit Georgien als Film- und Kulturraum beschäftigen.
